NATIONAL COMMANDER OF MAN O' WAR NIGERIA VISITS ONDO STATE GOVERNOR'S OFFICE
The National Commander of Man O' War Nigeria, NC Adedamola Gbenga mipm, mss,dsm. recently paid an official visit to the Ondo State Governor office in Akure. The delegation was received by the Chief of Staff, Prince Segun Omojuwa, representing His Excellency, Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa.
During the visit, the Chief of Staff expressed gratitude on behalf of the governor, reaffirming the state government's commitment to safeguarding lives and properties. He highlighted the importance of collaboration between the state and Man O' War Nigeria.
NC Adedamola Gbenga detailed several key initiatives, including the "Operation Stay in School" program, designed to enhance security in secondary schools and higher institutions across Nigeria. He stated, "We are here to inform His Excellency about our projects that require execution in Ondo State. The 'Operation Stay in School' initiative aims to ensure the safety of our educational institutions."
He further explained that the project had already been discussed with the Inspector General of Police and the Director General of the Department of State Services in Abuja and the discussion with the Ondo State Governor was the next step in securing statewide support.
Additionally, NC Gbenga sought the state government's support for the Ondo State Command to enhance effective and efficient service delivery by officers and men in the state. He also offered Man O' War's assistance in providing enforcement support for the Internally Generated Revenue (IGR) team.
In response, the Chief of Staff, on behalf of the governor, emphasized that one of the governor's cardinal agendas is securing lives and properties. He assured the National Commander of the state government's readiness to support Man O' War Nigeria in the state, highlighting the positive roles the organization has played in the community. He promised that the state government is prepared to work closely with Man O' War Nigeria in line with the state's agenda.
The meeting was attended by various dignitaries, including the Special Adviser to the Governor on Political Matters, Smart Omodunbi, and senior officers of Man O' War Nigeria.
